Home Decor: Pieces Falling into Place

This past week has been about more unpacking, a little rearranging, and hanging things up. I just have one more box and the unpacking part will be done! I can't wait to get it over with, because that last box has been completely in the way. Aaron and I have moved some furniture in the living room and the cat stuff in the dining room, as well as flipping the glass in the dining table for a different color. I'm really liking how they're set up right now! There's more seating, while still leaving space to walk around without maneuvering around a bunch of stuff (the living room isn't as cluttered as the photo suggests). Now if only I could find a teal chair and ottoman cover for the single brown set I have in my black-white-teal living room! lol There was also a little rearranging done on the balcony, but we have much more to do out there.
(More photos, pin-up walls, dress form shelves, and lots of other things after the jump!)

We've been getting a lot of our wall decor up. My "pin-up wall" is back to the way it was in the old place, I missed it! Aaron also put up a small bulletin board in the kitchen for keys and reminders, and put up a few shelves in our bedroom. My favorite shelf will always be the dress form though, even if there is a creepy mask on it currently. lol The apartment is really starting to look like a home! We really need to have more pictures of us and friends / family around the place, but we're off to a good start by buying a digital photo frame and filling it with photos of us. lol

In the next couple of weeks, Aaron is finally going to get a new dresser set, which means no more clothing stacks on the floor! I can't wait for that, because right now our bedroom kind of looks like a swap meet. lol After that, we still want to get a new mattress and box spring, TV stand / entertainment shelf set, and a couple of pretty lamps. I'm also going to need to buy a bunch of picture frames to hang up the art from other people (and a couple of my own) that I've collected. It'll be nice to finally have my own art wall!

And that's all just for this month, we've got a long way to go! :)

All photos by myself.

    1. I fell in love with mine the second I saw it!
I was kind of lucky to find it, it was in a pretty popular thrift / antique store in Reno, NV.
I'm hoping to reupholster it soon, I'm not a denim fan. lol

    1. True true. lol
Would be much easier if I had a car, but until then, Aaron's my transportation. lol

  3. I love how you're the only one that doesn't get onto me for not driving/having a car. It's really refreshing.

    1. Well aside from people having the right to do their own thing, I definitely can't get on you for something when I'm in the same boat. lol :)
Yay for being the refreshing friend! lol
